The English -language app takes up the idea of shoe boxes in which photos are located. As a result, you can find “Boxes” in the sidebar of MuseBox, not to be confused with the albums there: Each file is only in one box, but may be seen in several albums.
This is helpful if, for example, you have a digital “shoe box” with all the pictures of the Baltic Sea vacation and want to insert some into the album “Baltic Sea Photo Board” and “annual highlights”.
A difference to other photo managers and classic folders: In Musebox, the pictures of a box can be distributed in several Finder folders, even on several storage media. For example, you can outsource the videos of a vacation trip to an external drive while the photos remain on the internal record.
