Apple has presented the first functions of Visionos 3 that specifically use the headset’s camera system – for more accessibility. In addition, the manufacturer loosens the existing restrictions for apps when accessing the outer cameras, at least something. In addition to individual rumors, little is known about the next operating system version. Apple will present Visionos 3 at the WWDC in early June.
In Episode 49, Leo Becker talks to Mark Zimmermann, head of mobile solutions at EnBW, about the upcoming functions for the Vision Pro. Apple’s hesitant opening of the interface also employs us to access the outer cameras. Zimmermann also reports on the XR Expo in Stuttgart and an exciting handicraft project that turns a 360-degree camera into a (affordable) 8K patatic camera.
