In addition to iOS 18.4, Ipados 18.4, MacOS 15.4, TVOS 18.4 and now Watchos 11.4, Apple has also published a larger update for visionos this week, the operating system of its augmented and virtual reality headset Vision Pro. Apple Intelligence on the head – with restrictions
For the first time, Apple has brought Apple Intelligence to the system for the first time. But as it turns out, Apple Intelligence is definitely on the vision per running. The functions include the writing tools with which one can rewrite, improve and summarize texts, image generators (which, however, do not work photo-orientistically) including genemojis and “Image Wand” function, the creation of picture shows and videos from the media library through text prompts, the prioritization of messages as well as summaries and “Smart answers” in mail and the message app.
However, Apple has only released the function in English. While iOS 18.4, MacOS 15.4 and Co. are finally supported by German, Spanish, French and various other languages, the vision Pro remains with one -language. So far, Apple has not explained why this is so.
iPhone app with content and better guest setup
With the new “Spatial Gallery” application, Apple is now summarizing in an application for the Vision Pro. There are spatial photos, spatial videos and panoramas, which Apple regularly supplies with new content. The so -called guest mode was also improved, with which the Vision Pro can be handed over to other users. A new session can now be started on an iPhone or iPad nearby and users “lead” over it from the outside. Eye and hand tracking data are preserved for 30 days.
Finally, iOS 18.4 provides a new Apple Vision Pro app that makes it possible to look at content and install apps in advance, which then land on it when the headset is switched on. Apple has added improvements and bug fixes to edit (replace and delete and delete) words and to activate travel mode when there is an error message – this can be done via the digital crown.
