The return of products that have been shopped at Amazon is now very simple: In many cases, the e-commerce giant hands over a QR code in many cases, with which the return property can then be handed in simply in a DHL, UPS, Hermes or DPD branch (or corresponding packing stations) without having to print out anything. In the case of smaller products, no longer have to be made from packaging, as these are placed in the shipping store. A disturbing problem is, however, where you can accommodate the QR code. It can always be found in the Amazon app on the cell phone, but can only be reached there via a number of clicks. Users therefore often go on to simply make a screenshot because it goes faster via the respective photo library-or save it in the files app. In the United States, all of this will be a little easier for iPhone users: the official Amazon app is supported for return codes in Apple’s wallet.
QR code with a double click
Like the Apple blog 9to5mac reportsthe application has been showing the possibility since a current update when creating product returns to either download and/or display the return code as usual, to edit the return or just to be accommodated directly in Apple’s card collection point.
There she can then be reached immediately by a double click on the side button when visiting the tax office. A small but fine function that makes everyday life a little easier for versatile at Amazon. It can be assumed that the feature will soon be released in other markets of the e-commerce group.
Apple Wallet recognizes order emails
In connection with iOS 26, Apple is now working on a further improvement for online shopping with iPhones. Thanks to a new function in Apple Wallet, it will soon be possible to pursue shipments directly in Apple Wallet, even if the provider has not yet explicitly provides for this. Companies can already integrate this-also in combination with Apple Pay payments. However, so far only a comparatively few companies have participated in the purchasing tracking via Apple Wallet.
“Apple Wallet can now recognize and summarize order data from emails from dealers or delivery services. This works for all orders of a user, so that he can see all order details, status reports and more in one place,” writes Apple. It is currently still unclear whether the feature will also be active in Germany. iOS 26 appears in September.
