Two external webcams for the Mac in the test – with special functions

While Apple’s webcam no longer delivers more than full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), the Link 2 and Tiny 2 with 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels) already offer the fourfold number of pixels. In most MacOS applications such as FaceTime and many conference tools, videos are only displayed with full HD quality, and Apple’s QuickTime still does not support any higher resolution. Even at Full HD, many conference programs automatically reduce video quality with poor internet connection.
