Tip: Understand confusing prices in the App Store

In search of apps for my iPhone, I often stumble into confusing prices for in-app purchases in the app store. How do I see which price applies?

If you tap the app store “Information> In-app purchases> Yes”, several price information often appears there.

The reason: Apple obliges the app providers to list all prices that appear in the app. However, there are apparently sometimes prices from past offers that are no longer valid.

Which price currently applies is currently not reliably read from the information in the App Store, the app providers cannot influence it on their own initiative. To find out the valid price, you have to open the app and watch the offer there.

The information on the manufacturers’ websites is not always transparent with regard to in-app purchases.

They often refer to a subscription that they complete directly from the provider.

If this is possible, you save 15 to 30 percent more often-in accordance with the commission, which Apple is currently demanding for in-app purchases.
