Tip: Stage Manager at the push of a button

I sometimes want to spontaneously switch on the MacOS Stage Manager. Is that also less cumbersome than through the control center or the system settings?

You can activate and deactivate stage managers using a key combination. However, they have to set them up manually.

To do this, open the system setting “Keyboard”, click on the “Kurzsturzbungle” button and switch to the “Mission Control” section.

After double clicking on the “Without” next to “Stage Manager: Activate/Deactivate”.

By the way: If you switch to the “keyboard” section, the abbreviation for the window change within the stage can also be adapted.

For some years now, Apple has been using the rather unwieldy combination Command + ´ (next to the ß).

With the entry “Focus in the next window”, however, you can enter the previously used abbreviation Command + <, which you can easily reach with your left hand.
