I would like to automatically replace false quotes in a pages document. How does it work?

You can find the function at Pages on the MacIf you click on the icon “Representation” at the top left of the toolbar (not in the menu) and then choose “Search & replace”. Or you can use the search command from the editing menu and click the gear in the window appearing to activate the replacement mode.
Now enter the search term at the top and below, which is to be replaced. After clicking on the gear, you can still determine whether the upper and lower case or only entire words are taken into account. The number of hits then appears in gray in the search field.
In your example, searching and replacing does not automatically work, since pages does not distinguish different forms of quotation marks when searching.
The replacement then runs individually as desired. In order to catch the leading “goose feet”, click on the arrow to the right with unwanted hits until you get to a desired one.
