Can I automatically rename into MacOS files? I am not allowed to install apps in my company.
For simple operations, such as to add a counter or the date, an external tool is not necessarily required.
The “rename” function of the finder also works for several files.
First, click on the desired files individually with pressed command button. Then open the context menu with the right mouse button or “Control + Return” and choose “rename”.
Since several files are selected, a window with options for name format appears.
You can also add a prefix or remove a string of this.
