According to Gurman, Apple has achieved this result after a large amount of software and hardware optimization, which will be able to make the device extremely energy efficient.
The aforementioned optimizations include a higher density battery, the use of the C1 5G modem of Apple, and the lack of an ultra-skewer camera, which should leave more space under the lid for a larger battery.
In addition to the aforementioned specifications, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to hit the market, equipped with a 6.6-inch 120 Hz refresh display, Dynamic Island, A19 chipset, a single 48 MP camera, and the brand new Camera Control button that Apple is introducing with the iPle.
The smartphone will probably not have a physical SIM slot and will fully rely on ESIM technology. The expected launch date will be in September this year, along with all other models in the series.
