Despite rumors about the opposite, Apple is working hard on an Apple Vision Pro heir, shares Mark GurmanS The next generation of headsets for a mixed reality of apple It should be cheaper and lighter than the original, which can make it as available as possible to the general public.
Apple Vision Pro has not become the success the technology giant expected. Despite the excellent hardware, the high price of AVP was one of the main factors for the consumer interest and low sales. These two factors have even brought with them rumors that the company is about to give up the development of a sequel.
Well, the rumors seem to be greatly exaggerated because journalist Mark Gurman said that Apple is developing not one but two new hedges for a mixed reality. The first will be a direct extension of the Apple Vision Pro and its goal will be to reach a wider range of users.
This will be done in addition to refreshing a purely hardware level, and with the lighting of the device, as well as a reduction in its price. Apple Vision Pro’s first generation weighs about 700 grams and costs approximately 4000 euros – a price that is suitable for technological enthusiasts rather than a mass audience.
The second model on which Cupertino engineers work will function through mac -wired connectivity. This will allow him to have almost zero latency and make it work with it more troublesome, especially with applications requiring precision or quick reactions.
So far, there is no indication of exactly when we can expect any of the two models on the market. However, Gurman concludes that the mixed and added reality segments are of the utmost importance for Tim Cook, so the wait should not be too long.
