The era of ultra-thin smartphones continues, and it’s Motorola’s turn to join the party with its first representative in the segment – the Moto X70 Air. It offers a thickness of just 6 mm, as well as significantly better battery life compared to other competitors in the segment. What else we can find in the device, we will tell you in this material.
Let’s start with the display – the Moto X70 Air comes with a 6.7” flat OLED panel, a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels, and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. An under-display fingerprint sensor is also available. The protection against wetting and dust particles is IP68 and IP69.
The thinness, as we expect, stands out with its 6 mm, and the weight of the smartphone is only 159 grams.

In terms of hardware power, Motorola’s new smartphone relies on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 12 GB LRDDR5X RAM and two options for UFS 3.1 internal space – 256 GB or 512 GB. There is no microSD card slot, so whatever option you choose, this will be all the space you will have.
The battery is one of the places where the Moto X70 Air impresses. Unlike the Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air, where this aspect is quite a compromise, here we can find a 4800 mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.

There are three cameras – each 50 MP, with the main one using a Samsung sensor, and the ultra-wide one coming with a 120-degree field of view. We also have a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus available.

The Motorola Moto X70 AIr is available in three colors – Gadget Gray, Lily Pad (light green) and Bronze Green (dark green), and each color scheme includes a different accent around the camera rings.

So far, there is no launch date and no official pricing. On the world market, the device is expected to come out under another name – Motorola Edge 70.
