Spotify raises the prices internationally

Spotify becomes more expensive in several countries. The company wants to inform its customers by email behind the music streaming service, according to a message. It is currently unclear where Spotify wants to turn Spotify on the price screw. Spotify only writes of “several markets” in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.

The new prices apply According to Reuters From September. In the affected European markets, the monthly costs for Spotify in the standard subscription increase from 11 to 12 euros a month. In Germany, Spotify has just launched its new audio book offer: With the additional option “Hörbücher+”, users can also hear for 15 hours per month. Together with the twelve hours included in the standard, this results in a hearing time of 27 hours a month. The additional option for audio books costs 9 euros a month, so there is a total of 20 euros together with the current subscription price.
