The Sparkassen online banking was struggling with massive disorders on Sunday. The release of transactions with the S-Pushtan app failed. In the meantime, however, the problem should be resolved.
On the portal All -storms There were initial reports around midnight that climbed to more than 4,500 by Sunday afternoon. Since then the reports have sinks, but still go into the hundreds.
As a error message, those affected appeared that a transaction could not be released and that those affected should contact their customer supervisors; In addition, a longer ID number was given. In the transaction itself, there was an indication that the S-Pushtan app should be secured with biometry-in the specific case of the author, however, this was the case anyway. The Sparkasse clears on Facebook A problem.
“The disturbance of the S-Pushtan app from this morning has been remedied. The release of orders is now possible again,” the savings banks write there. Cash withdrawals of ATMs and card payments in retail were not affected. The German Sparkassen- und Giroverband eV (DSGV) has in a similarly lodged message Excluded that it was consequences of a cyber attack.
Possibly access lock by too many failed tests
The savings banks continue to state: “In individual cases, it may have happened that your online banking has been blocked by several failed approval attempts”. If a blocking continues, those affected should contact their savings bank so that it can unlock the access again.
Comments from users are still piling up on Facebook, where online banking is still disturbed-however, many also speak out in which online banking works again. With persistent disorders, apparently only waiting and contacting your own Sparkasse branch at the opening times will actually help.
At the beginning of April 2024 there were recently major problems with card payments at various banks and the savings banks.
