Scan, copy, print: Multifunction printer for the Mac in the test

For the article, we viewed the Canon Pixma TS7650i, the Epson Expression Home XP-4200 and the HP Envy 6520E, which was only presented in November 2024. The basic test first appeared with our colleagues from C’t. In the following, however, we deal with the experience on the Mac and clarify which of the devices for the Apple environment are worthwhile.

In the case of text and graphics in normal quality, all test candidates create 8 to 12 pages per minute, the Canon Pixma even 15 pages in the design pressure. The speed is sufficient for households with low pressure volume, especially since the paper supply of the printer with usually 100 sheets is not particularly large.
