Read comics on the iPad: You need that, it is so comfortable

Some apps presented support the reader with special functions such as the “guided navigation”, which leads the image board for image board (panel) through history. The side cutouts appear on the screen, and the app zooms out in cross-panel. This ensures significantly better readability, especially on smaller displays such as the iPad Mini or iPhone.

The first point of contact for comic fans is through the comixology takeover of the Kindle-Shop from Amazon. Here you will find US comics, your German translations as well as local hits such as Disney’s funny paperback and Frankobelgian classics such as Asterix and Obelix. To buy new titles directly on the iPad, you have to take the detour via the browser. The Kindle app only offers access to your existing library.
