Language models and generative AI functions, but just no chatbot: Apple Intelligence starts the second year with iOS 26 & Co. The basic concept remains the same: in addition to a small AI model that is loaded directly onto the devices, Apple also relies a slightly larger in-house model in the cloud-as well as more and more chatt. The list of new Apple intelligence functions is manageable, but a lot happens in the substructure.

We also employ Apple’s further developed Foundation Models as well as the exciting option to integrate the AI models into short commands and automations.
