Apple subsidiary Beats presented the Powerbeats Fit on Tuesday. The wireless in-ears succeed the Beats Fit Pro presented in 2022. The group had already had aneas the listeners in a commercial a month ago.
Like the predecessors, the Powerbeats Fit silicone hooks with which they hold in the auricle. According to the manufacturer, the listeners should sit as tightly as the sister models Powerbeats Pro 2, where you can clamp an iron behind the ear. This should make the listeners particularly suitable for sport. The silicone ear pads can be replaced, four sizes (XS, S, M and L) are included.
Like the predecessors, the listeners are welding and water-resistant with IPX4 certification. So you can also wear them in intensive training or in heat. Music playback can be controlled via buttons on the listeners, regulating volume, switching between hearing modes or activate the voice assistant.
Old H1 chip, iOS and Android integration
The Powerbeats Fit have two dual beamforming microphones. For better call quality, they should effectively reduce ambient noise such as wind.
Beats integrates a special Apple chip into the Powerbeats Fit again, which takes over comfort functions under iOS, but also controls microphones and noise suppression. The manufacturer relies on the elderly H1, which is already in the predecessors, the Airpods 3, the Airpods Max and the first AirPods Pro.
Among other things, the H1 ensures automatic switching between several players, the audio approval with several beats or Apple listeners, free hands “Hey Siri” or find about “Where is?”. The more powerful H2, which is also available in the Powerbeats Pro 2, but also the AirPods Pro 2 or the AirPods 4, offers better ANC, adaptive hearing modes, but also better microphone sound. A heart rate measurement as with the Powerbeats Pro 2 or the Airpods Pro 3 does not have fit at the Powerbeats.
Beats listeners work better with smartphones from other manufacturers than Apple’s own AirPods series. The manufacturer offers its own beat app for Android users. There are functions such as paddocks with a 1-click, customizable controls, a battery display, a search for the device and a fit for the ear pads.
3D sound and ANC
Beats claim to have adapted the shape of the listeners to the specially developed drivers. These are intended to provide a “powerful, balanced beats sound in the entire sound spectrum for an extraordinary listening experience”.
The Powerbeats Fit also support personalized 3D audio with head tracking in music, games or films, provided the material is available in Dolby Atmos. The listeners dominate active noise suppression (ANC), reducing ambient noise, as well as a transparency mode.
Smaller case, runtime and USB-C shop
According to the manufacturer, the newly designed loading case is 17 percent smaller than with the predecessors Beats Fit Pro. Like the listeners, it is now also welding and water-resistant in accordance with IPX4 certification.
The in-ears should hold out for up to seven hours with a charge without ANC or transparency mode. In combination with the loading case, the Powerbeats get up to 30 hours of battery life. If you activate noise suppression, the term is reduced to six hours per load.
A quick charging function should meet five minutes in the charging bowl to listen to an hour of music. The case itself is loaded via USB-C.

Prices and availability
Compared to the predecessors Fit Pro, Beats has slightly reduced the price: the Powerbeats fit can be found from September 30th for 229.95 euros Pre -order at Apple. They are available on October 2. They are available in four colors: diamond black, grave gray, bright orange and powerpink.
