OnePlus 15 will have a battery with a capacity of 7300 mAh

The next flagship of the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus will include a huge battery. This was confirmed by the company in a post on the social network Weibo. The battery capacity will be up to 40% higher than available in premium offerings from giants such as Samsung, Apple and Google.

As previous rumors claimed, the OnePlus 15 will be equipped with a massive 7300 mAh battery, which will certainly be enough even for more intense daily loads. There will also be 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra uses a 5000 mAh battery, the iPhone 17 Pro Max has a capacity of between 4800 mAh and 5000 mAh, depending on whether it is a model with or without a SIM card slot, and the Pixel 10 has a capacity of 5200 mAh.

As we can see, the differences are quite significant, but still we must not forget that a large battery cannot compensate for poorly implemented optimization. Therefore, we hope that OnePlus has also worked quite a bit in this aspect.

In hardware terms, we can expect a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage, a 6.78” LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate and a triple camera.

The OnePlus 15 will be officially unveiled on October 27 alongside the mid-range smartphone OnePlus Ace 6.

Its global premiere is scheduled for November 13.
