A few months after the start of his Smart Lock Castle drive, manufacturer Nuki renews its PRO line with similar product features. The new Pro is also shaped like a compact knob and does not require a chunky substructure. In contrast, the new Nuki Smart Lock Pro can be placed via a key inserted from the inside-like previous Pro models. The new model does not need a special Nuki closing cylinder, which has a clutche instead of a key inlet on the inside, to be similarly compact. It is 70 millimeters long, so it protrudes twelve millimeters further into the room.

From the Ultra, the Pro takes over the very high closing speed of the engine of 1.5 seconds. In addition to Bluetooth, Nuki also integrates WiFi as a further extra talent and saves the purchase of a bridge for web access. There is thread radio on board for the interaction with matter-compatible smart home platforms. Anyone who uses suitable headquarters of Apple also use the ernergy -saving radio protocol instead of the electricity -hungry WLAN for remote access – a currently exclusive electricity trick from Nuki and Apple.
The Nuki Smart Lock Pro in fifth, now a knob-shaped generation is available from today for 270 euros. A detailed test will appear shortly with Heise+ and c't. The ultra model remains in stores, including a special inferior dyle for 350 euros.
Cheap go, no new intercom
The manufacturer complements the two high -priced lock drives with a cheaper product called Nuki Smart Lock Go. At the price of 150 euros, the model, which is also available from today, contains similar inner values, including the integrated WLAN bridge as well as thread and matter.
It closes a little less quickly. Nuki also packs batteries in the box. A battery pack costs 50 euros extra. Certain remote access functions are to be unlocked for 50 euros. Unlike industry reports, Nuki does not work on new accessories for intercoms. The manufacturer wrote some of the registered customers, which she would expect from a successor to the Nuki Opener. The draft presented for inspiration as Nuki Intercom is a product idea without a specific implementation plan.
