New passage cables for iPhone and Apple Watch and Qi2 devices

You can never have enough USB-C interfaces, after all, they serve most devices for power supply or to charge today. It is correspondingly annoying if all connections are occupied on the power supply or on the computer, even though you need another. The solution is the solution here: they supply one or more devices with electricity, but also lead a USB-C plug again, which can then be used for another device. If the power supply is strong enough, it is not technically not a problem. The provider Zens, known for its Apple accessories, has now launched two such products: one to load Apple Watch and iPhone (as well as other Qi2 devices) and one for charging iPhones and Qi2 devices.

The Charging Cable USB-CC Pro 3 Costs almost 100 euros, it comes with up to 140 watt charging power and contains a loading puck for the Apple Watch (or AirPods with wireless charging function) and an Android cell phone for Magsafe-Imphones or Qi2. The special feature: A USB-C cable with a connector is found both on the Apple Watch charging puck and on the Qi2 loader. One connector is hung on the charger or another USB-C power source (such as a notebook). The other then remains, for example, for charging a headphone or any other USB-C device.

A second passage loader from Zens is that Charging Cable USB-CC Pro 2. It is a simpler variant of the first model – the price is just under 50 euros. Instead of an additional Apple Watch loading, only a Qi2 loader with MAGSAFE compatibility is installed, which also has a USB-C cable on both sides. Both cens products can currently be pre-ordered and are delivered in October.

So far, only one company has had a guide loader on offer: the company Nomad with its Universal Cable (see also “Gadger Inspector” in Mac & I Issue 2/2025). However, this is only a stripping with Apple Watch charging puck, so it is only suitable for Apple’s computer watches and airpods with wireless charging function.

Zens addresses a significantly larger target group with the Qi2 loader. The devices are made of aluminum, the Qi2 loader creates up to 15 watts, the Apple Watch loading puck is designed for fast charging mode.
