MDM systems in comparison: This is how professionals manage iPhone, Mac and iPad

For an IT infrastructure with numerous iPhones or iPads, an MDM should offer a correspondingly deep Apple integration. Administrators must control iOS functions in detail, to be able to restrict the use of Siri, Airdrop or the iCloud backup, and define email accounts, VPN profiles and WLAN access. Good MDM systems also support the import of manually created configuration files, which were created, for example, with the Apple Configurator. This means that they are also equipped for such special settings, which the system does not do from the house.
