Switch off 1 Liquid Glass
If you don’t like the glass effect of MacOS 26, you will get rid of it via the system setting “Operating Aids”. Open the “Advertisement” category and switch off the “Reduce transparency” option there.
This also reactivates the background of the menu bar and put the entire toolbar off the window content again in apps, instead of overlaping it with a soft drawing and shadow. The control center gets a conventional window again with the option, so that all buttons are clearly recognizable regardless of the background.
