The most popular laptop in the world MacBook Air has got a new and improved version, already equipped with M4 Apple chipset. In addition to hardware enhancements, the Macbooc Air with M4 will also offer a brand new sky blue and a lower starter price.
MacBookair received a bigger refreshing about a year ago when the M3 chipset joined the series. Today, MacBook Air versions with M2 and M3 remain in the past to make way to the brand new model with M4.
The M4 MacBook Air will have a 10-core processor, and 8-core graphics, and there is also a possibility for a 10-core graphics option (for which, of course, you have to pay out), accompanied by up to 32GB RAM. Apple says the M4 laptop model has 2 times better performance than the M1 version and 23 times better performance than the latest version with an Intel processor, especially in gaming.
The M4's Neural Engine will be able to handle AI tasks 3 times faster than with its predecessor, and single-processing and multi-processing tasks should get about 20% improvement. Access to the Apple Intelligence package is also available. As for the battery, Apple promises up to 18 hours of work. The internal memory is presented with options between 256 GB and 2 TB SSDs.
The MacBook Air with M4 also gets the standard for many Apple 12 MP Center Stage Camera devices, and the novelty is up to two 6k external displays, with which your multitasking will surely go to the next level. The size of the screens is preserved – 13 '' and 15 ''.
The most enjoyable surprise with the new generation MacBook Air is the lower price. The 13-inch version will already start at 1199 euros, which is a decrease of 100 euros over the M3 version. The 15-inch version also receives a price reduction and will already start at 1499 euros. The last innovation is the sky-blue color, which will be accompanied by black, silver and cream. Sales start on March 12th.
