Leak: In these colors there is the iPhone 17

Apple’s logistics department will soon get a lot to do: The group is apparently planning a total of 15 different colors for the iPhone 17. This emerges from an “internal document”, which has now been leaked and is available to the American MacWorld magazine. Some of the paintings seem to be quite special and have not yet been spotted in an Apple smartphone in this form.

Apple is supposed to According to the report provide a total of six variants. It is black, white, “steel gray”, green, violet and light blue (“Light Blue”). On the other hand, Apple takes back on the new iPhone 17 Air, which is supposed to be particularly thin, and apparently only delivers four colors: black, white, light blue (“Light Blue”, similar to “Sky Blue” in the MacBook Air) and light gold (“Light Gold”).

As usual, there will be the new iPhones in various storage variants, so that countless skus (stock keeping units, article numbers) for Apple’s shops, the online store and the free dealers come about. That alone is considered a logistical masterpiece. As usual, special and newer colors should be more difficult to get than standard colors such as black and white.

Apple supposedly provides five new colors for the two Pro models of the iPhone 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. The special color this year is orange, which is apparently copper -like “fluorescent”. Otherwise there is still black, white, gray (other shading than “steel gray”) and dark blue. The Max model does not get an additional color compared to the smaller pro model. Black and white allegedly correspond to the iPhone 16.

In addition to the MacWorld, other leaves have also confirmed the color scheme. Another current rumor concerns the type of housing: supposedly Apple Titan pulls off the Pro models and uses an aluminum frame. Supposedly only the iPhone 17 Air gets titanium this year, the analyst Jeff Pu thinks By GF Securities from Hong Kong. All iPhone-17 models can probably be expected in early to mid-September. The week around September 8 is the possible keynote date with a release the following week.
