iPhone gets access to Circle to Search, but only in Chrome and Google App

One of the most useful features on Android is already available for iOS, albeit in a slightly modified form and with a new name. Cirle to Search, developed by Google, will now be able to use the iPhone, but, as opposed to the version of Android, it will only be available within Google Chrome and Google App.

Circle to Search with Google will now be able to use iOS devices, announced from the company todayS However, the interesting thing is that for some reason the feature will not bear this name, but a much more complicated and cumbersome Search Screen with Google Lens, with the reason for this change that remains unknown so far.

Another difference that iOS users will need to get used to is that Search Screen will only be available within two applications – the Chrome and Google App, not at the system level, as on Android. The official explanation from Google is that this option is most useful and commonly used within the browser, but Apple is also likely to have simply not allowed wider application to its operating system.

To use Search Screen on the iPhone, you must log in to Chrome or Google App and press the three -point menu in any of the two applications. You can then draw any shape on the image or text you are interested in and get information about it.

Search Screen with Google Lens for iOS will be available globally by the end of this week.

In the coming months, both applications will receive a specialized Google Lens icon to accelerate this process.
