Apple's next premium model may offer a tangibly thicker body that is expected to house a larger battery. The iPhone 17 Pro Max will be the most foel smartphone of the US company in recent years, with its profile being 8.725 mm, according to Ice Universe post in Weibo.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to have a thickness of 8.725 mm, which would be a significant increase over its predecessor iPhone 16 Pro Max and its 8.3 mm. According to the source, this change will be due to the inclusion of a larger battery in the flagship model of Apple.
However, it is not called how much greater this battery will be and whether it will lead to a longer life away from the charger or its purpose will rather meet the requirements of more difficult and energy-intensive features and applications.
The same source claims that the new model in the series – the so -called. The iPhone 17 Air will have identical display dimensions (6.9 “diagonal with 1.15 mm frames) and housing (163 mm tall and 77.6 mm wide) like those of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but will there be a much thinner profile.
The iPhone 17 Air will be different from other models in the series and in that it will use only one camera on its back, and its battery is still unnamed, but it would be of high density, which sounds encouraging.
