iPhone 17 Air may be the only iPhone with a titanium frame this year

The strength of our smartphones is always one of the main factors we mean when buying each of our next device. At the iPhone Apple, it has been using aluminum and titanium frames for years, such as distribution and choice depending on the models this year It seems to be a little surprising.

In the last few cycles, the titanium frames have been reserved for Pro and Pro Max models of the apple, While the other devices in the series used frames made of aluminum.

However, this year, things seem to change and the only version of the iPhone to be expected with a titanium frame will be the first representative of the company in the ultra -thin segment – the iPhone 17 Air, according to analyst Jeff Pu.

In general, aluminum is lighter than titanium, which should make it more suitable for a device aimed at maximum ease and ergonomics, such as the iPhone 17 Air. However, Titan’s better strength has probably played a key role in choosing Apple.

In 2024, Ming-chi Kuo said that 17 Air was expected to use a combination of aluminum and titanium for his frame, but as if his colleague Jeff Pu information was confirmed that Apple had taken another direction.

All smartphones in the iPhone 17 series should be officially unveiled in the second week of September. The new, Ultrathon, family member will replace the current Plus model in the technology giant’s ecosystem.
