Apple has updated the iPad Air-not a whole year after the introduction of the previous models with M2 chip. The now seventh generation of the iPad Air remains unchanged on the outside and is still available in two sizes with 11 and 13 -inch display. The M3 processor is new with 8-core CPU and 9-core GPU. This is mainly a jump in the graphic, emphasizes Apple, because the iPad Air for the first time receives the improved graphics architecture with support for raytracing. However, the air continues to lag a chip generation behind the iPad Pro and the current M4-MACs.
