The appointment for Apple's this year's developer conference WWDC is. On June 9, 2025, it is to be opened with a “special event” in Apple Park. As in previous years, the iPhone manufacturer will largely hold the large developer meeting online. The various activities such as online labs and video sessions take place until June 13th. The keynote in Cupertino can see a selection of developers and students on site.
The signs are on redesign this year. Allegedly, iOS 19 and MacOS 16 are to be changed on a larger scale – there is talk of an alignment with design principles of Visionos. Apple is still completely covered with the content of the WWDC keynote. The colorful lettering also allows few conclusions to be drawn about the content. It is also eagerly awaited how Apple comments on the progress of the Apple Intelligence. Most recently, significant criticism had become loud when the extended Siri had to be postponed.
Is hardware also coming?
This year IOS 19, IPADOS 19, MacOS 16, Watchos 12 and TVOS 19. Visionos 3 could also become interesting, into which user experiences could be incorporated for the first time-some remember the Watchos Apple Watch operating system, whose profile in version 3 was also significantly sharpened.
As always, hardware announcements are possible. Hot candidates are a new Mac Pro and the second -generation air day. Apple has often held WWDC keynotes without new hardware.
