The American communication supervision Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has revealed at least three new Apple product categories-although there are actually ways not to show secret products in the public database. This is a new MacBook Pro machine, two different types of iPad-pro devices in two sub-variants and a first successor to the Apple headset Vision Pro.
Product numbers expire
The documents that Macrumors have, but have now been removed again, Do not contain any product names. However, pictures and other descriptions can be concluded from the devices. A3434 is therefore probably a new MacBook Pro with M5 chip. This was actually expected that it will only be released in the coming spring. It is interesting, however, that several MacBook Pro models are usually stored at the FCC, but here it is only one. Apple supposedly plans a new cheap MacBook-but the information does not seem to fit.
Four model numbers were leaked on the iPad. A3357 and A3360 are probably 11 and 13-inch WLAN variants of a new iPad Pro M5. Here you still expect a release in autumn. The model numbers A3358 and A3359 in turn stand for an iPad Pro M5 equipped with 5G mobile radio with 11 inches, A3361 and A3362 for its 13-inch variant. At hardware specs, the database entries can be found that the MacBook Pro has Wi-Fi 7, this information is missing from the iPads.
Vision per 2 also on the march
Apple also prepares a Vision Pro 2. This should come with a new chip (M4 or M5) and possibly a little more comfortable head belt – otherwise remain unchanged, a lighter and cheaper variant will not appear until 2027. According to FCC, the new model is wearing number A3416, it is called “Head Mounted Device”.
According to Macrumors, where the documents could be viewed before the company a similar look as with the current vision per. Apparently Apple does not plan a Wi-Fi 7, but only Wi-Fi 6. The first vision Pro was comparatively mau was already equipped, so the M2 chip had, although the M3 was already on the market-despite the high price of at least 4000 euros.
