Like the others, Opera speaks of a paradigm shift. What is meant is that the browser can be served differently in the future and will take on tasks for users. “For more than 30 years, the browser enabled access to the Internet, but it was never able to do things for them. Now he can do it. That is different from everything we have seen or delivered so far,” says Krystian Kolondra, responsible manager at Opera, in a press release. The browser will switch from a “display engine” to an application that can take on tasks.
