The serious slowdown in the next generation of Siri Voice Assistant and Apple’s vicissitudes in the field of artificial intelligence brought the company not one and two negatives. However, just recently the software boss of apple Craig Federiga called the progress of the project promising, and we already have details and with which Apple apps are testing the new features.
The information comes by the journalist Mark Gurman of Bloombergaccording to which the smarter version of Siri is already tested with applications such as YouTube, Facebook, Amazon, Whatsapp, Temu, Uber and Threadswhich are among the most popular in any mobile ecosystem.
Of course, Apple continues to test the next generation of her voice assistant and with her system applications, which she would certainly want to work completely seamlessly, especially after the Fiasco along Apple Intelligence.
The journalist adds that the Cupertino giant is considering restricting or completely excluding some of the upcoming new Siri functions, at least as far as bank applications and applications related to health are concerned in order to avoid mistakes and problems that occurred in internal tests.
If everything goes according to plan, and this is a very relative unit of measure lately, we should see the new Siri in the spring of 2026, along with iOS 26.4.
