Apple sets these iPhones and Apple Watch models after the keynote

Apple officially stops a whole series of devices after the IPhone 17. As always, the group first withdraws them from its own shops and the Apple Online Store, the trade channels will follow in a few months – although some popular model will certainly be available for longer.

With the iPhones, all variants of the iPhone 15 now fall out of sales. This was last the models 15 and 15 plus. There are no more Pro and Pro-Max models on the iPhone 16. These are replaced by the 17 series. IPhone 16, 16 Plus and the entry -level model 16e are also sold. Apple thus follows its usual approach to delete the Pro models of the previous year and to keep the cheaper variants on offer.

Thus there is currently overall via Apple Seven different iPhones To buy: iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, iPhone 17, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16E. In terms of price, the iPhone 16e with 128 GB for 699 euros. The range ends with the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 2 TB, which costs 2449 euros.

The introduction of the Apple Watch Series 11, the SE 3 and the Ultra 3 also changes the portfolio of computer clocks at Apple. A total of three model series make the finish. So you can no longer buy the Series 10 via Apple, it is replaced by the Series 11. The same applies to the entry -level clock SE 2. This is followed by the (much more attractive, because better equipped) SE 3. And the Ultra 2 is no longer available, it is exchanged for Ultra 3 (larger screen, 5G, satellite radio).

SE 2 and Ultra 2 were both getting on in years. Apple had already introduced the Ultra 2 in autumn 2023, in 2024 there was only a rather uninteresting color update. The SE 2 in turn comes from 2022. The latest model that is now stamped is the Series 10: it is on the market for almost exactly a year. With the setting of the devices at Apple itself, there should also be an impact on prices outdoors. As long as the models continue to go to resellers, the tariffs should decrease. Users should take a look at the Heise price comparison throw.
