Almost three years have passed since the launch of the third generation of the Apple streaming player – Apple TV 4K. It seems that this year apple is ready with a significant upgrade of the device, which is expected to be born this fall.
The news of this move on Apple was found in an involuntarily shared information from the company itself, which contains more chipset information on the next iPad Mini, as well as more curious details related to other devices in its ecosystem.
According to the open data, the next generation of the Apple TV 4K will be referred to the A17 Pro chipset, which originally appeared as part of the iPhone 15 Pro 2 years ago, and subsequently integrated into the iPad Mini 7.
Upgrading to the much more capable A17 Pro means that the new Apple TV 4K will be able to take advantage of the Apple Intelligence capabilities as well as the support of video games of a much larger caliber.
In addition to the new chipset, the streaming player is expected to benefit from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chips of own production. The launch date may coincide with the appearance of the iPhone 17 series in early September or with the third anniversary of the release of its predecessor in October.
