One of the most exciting innovations that Apple has announced this week is real-time translation for their Apple AirPods headset. However, it seems the helpful function, at least for the first time, will remain inaccessible to consumers in the European Union.
According to information, discovered by Macrumors of the specialized Real -time translation page on Apple sitethe new feature will not be available to users physically within the Union or those who use pact countries.
Of course, this news is extremely disappointing for the millions of clients of the company who live in these territories and who would surely be reached by the service.
The theory to this moment is that the prohibition on the groove of this functionality is due to the strict rules of the eurregulators as regards the use of artificial intelligence and the protection of personal data.
The real -time translation will be available for the Apple AirPods Pro 3, as well as for two of the older models of the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4, with the arrival of iOS 26.
The maintained languages are 5 – English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, and Apple plans to add support for Italian, Korean, Japanese and Chinese later this year.
