AirPod Pro 3 come with surprising minus against AirPod Pro 2

Apple has announced the new AirPods Pro 3, which arrives with a changed design, bringing more comfort, higher dust and water protection, and real-time translations. However, the new generation of wireless headsets come with a key minus to the previous generation.

The surprising minus of Apple AirPods Pro 3 is linked to the headphone battery, which seems to be significantly smaller than the previous generation – AirPods Pro 2.

Although Apple promises up to 8 hours of use of the headset with active noise insulation, compared to the six hours we had available to their predecessors, the total battery life, with the power in the boot box is already 24 hours.

For comparison, this result with the AirPods Pro 2 reached 30 hours, with the most logical explanation for this being the box itself to have a smaller size of the built-in battery in the new model.

Of course, we should not forget about other virtues and innovations Pro AirPods Pro 3, among which are the introduction of the pulsometer and the improved ANC sound insulation.

However, the question is whether they are sufficient for Pro 2 holders to upgrade, given that the overall battery life is reduced by as much as 20 %, and real-time translation feature will be accessible to older models in the series.
