The alleged iPhone 17 Air will be Apple’s first attempt to enter the ultra -thin segment. The smartphone should become an official part of the family of apple This fall, along with other devices in the series. Thanks to a leaked video in X with a physical layout of the phone, however, we already have a first look at its design.
In the video of Majin Bu in X, we see for the first time a real model on the iPhone 17 Air, with the model shown in black. The greatest impression, of course, makes the subtlety of the smartphone, which will also be one of its main distinctive features.
According to the analyst, the Ming-Chi Kuo 17 Air will be just 5.5 mm thick, which will turn it into the smallest iPhone so far, taking over the first place of the former champion iPhone 6 and its 6.9 mm.

However, to achieve this level of subtlety, Apple has also resorted to a number of compromises. With its first Utlraton smartphone, the Kupertino giant will use the A19 chipset, the camera will be only one, the SIM slot will be removed, and the expected battery should have a capacity of rather anemic 2,800 mAh.
The iPhone 17 Air is expecting to hit the market this fall, along with other models of the iPhone 17 series. If Apple’s experiment is successful, the Air model should replace the plus variant in the long run.
