Musks Ki-Chatbot grok gets eyes

Similar to Google’s Gemini Live and Openais Chatgpt, Xais Grok has now got eyes. On Tuesday, Elon Musk’s company announced the GROK Vision function with which users can point their smartphone on products, signs and documents and ask questions. The content of the smartphone screen can also be analyzed.

As XAI employee Ebby Amir writes on X, Grok Vision is currently only accessible via the iPhone app. Android users still have to be patient.

In the contribution to X, Xai announced two more updates for GROKS voice mode. From now on, the chatbot can no longer only recognize answers in English, but also in other languages. In addition to Spanish, French, Turkish, Japanese, Hindi is also supported. German is not yet part of the party.

The real-time search is also new in GROK language mode. According to Xai, the two functions can be used on Android. However, the paid Super-GROK tariff is required for their use, which costs $ 30 per month.

Musks Grok has gained many new functions in recent months. In this way, the chatbot can remember earlier conversations, which could indicate that the application in the direction of a personal AI assistant could be developed.

In February, a new AI family was released with Grok 3, which consists of a small and large model and associated Reasoning models. According to Elon Musk, the company has set little limits to Grok 3’s voice fashion: language mode can also moan, swear and more that is not possible with the competitors.

In addition, data protectionists have become aware of Musk’s AI company Xai. The Irish data protection authority examines how Musks Platform X has used personal data of European citizens to train GROKS AI model.
