Bugfix for everyone: iOS 26.0.1, Ipados 26.0.1, MacOS 26.0.1, Visionos 26.0.1, TVOS 26.0.1 and Watchos 26.0.2 are now available for download. Apple thus eliminates the first mistakes of its new operating systems.
IOS and iPados: Reasured rough carver
Apple reports that iOS 26.0.1 solves problems related to WLAN and Bluetooth connections on iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and Air. Apparently it was about incompatibilities and/or the power saving mode of the new Apple radio chip N1. Photos, which were taken under certain light conditions with the four new iPhones, contained sometimes black artifacts that should no longer occur.
“Some” iPhones could no longer connect to the mobile network after the upgrade to version 26. Finally, bugs were fixed in the icon representation (which remained empty after changing the color laying) and voice control voiceover-the latter was potentially a serious problem for visually impaired people. Ipados 26.0.1 fix the voiceover problem, possibly also the own error and a bug in which the screen keyboard has moved in unexpected areas. It is also unclear whether Apple also fixes a problem in connection with the download of basic Apple intelligence models on the new iPhones.
MacOS 26.0.1 and the other systems
MacOS 26.0.1 fixed a bug that led to the operating system could not install on Mac-Studio-M3-Ultra machines. Further errors should also be included. Watchos 26.0.2 (which follows Watchos 26.0.1, the satellite functions of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 for Mexico released) also contains error fixes, as well as Visionos 26.0.1, TVOS 26.0.1 and the HomePod software 26.0.1.
In addition, security holes are stuffed. This is one in iOS 26.0.1 and iPados 26.0.1 Bug in the font parserwhich was able to crash the apps and corrupted process memory. This error was also in MacOS 26.0 and is in MacOS 26.0.1 fixed. There are also fixed ones in Visionos 26.0.1However, not in Watchos 26.0.2 and TVOS 26.0.1, which according to Apple do not contain any safety improvements. Incidentally, the Fontparser gap is also in MacOS 14.8.1 (Sonoma),, MacOS 15.7.1 (Sequoia) and iOS 18.7.1 and iPados 18.8.1 Stuffed.
