New Apple Music update for Android adds key feed from iOS 26 version

Apple Music is one of the leading music streaming platforms on the market. And although Apple offers a version of the service app and Android, it does not always get the innovations on a line with the company’s own operating system – iOS.

However, the new 5.0 update for the Android version of the Apple Music, it brings with it some of the most enjoyable innovations in streaming that became part of it with the release of iOS 26 about two weeks ago.

The first new feature entitled “PIN” allows users to hook Your favorite song, album, playlist or artist/band at the top of their “Library” section, thus having easy access to them at any time.

Your PINs are synchronized on all the devices where you use Apple Music, so your musical suffering will be the same where you listen to your favorite tracks. To add a new “PIN” you just have to hold on to the screen so that the option can appear.

The second novelty allows the translation and display of the pronunciation of the lyrics of certain songs. It can be activated from the settings menu, and you must reach Display Options and then to the Lyrics section.

Apple says translations are achieved through artificial intelligence, but the subtle settings are made by language specialists to preserve the context and emotion of the original works.

Last but not least is the “Replay” function, which allows us to track what we have listened to most for months and even for the whole past year, giving us the opportunity to hear again some of our favorites that we may have forgotten.

Android update 5.0 is now available to US users and will be available globally next week.
