The new iPhone 17 smartphones are already a reality and are in the hands of millions of users worldwide. One of the best-selling models in the series is expected to be the iPhone 17 Pro Max, for which Apple promises a significant improvement in charging. However, how significant is it really?
According to a series of tests done by specialists in this field Chargerlab, the top model of the iPhone 17 series reaches a charging of 36 W, which is an improvement by 20% over its predecessor iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple claims that 50% of the 17 Pro Max battery can be filled for about 20 munites. For comparison, last year’s half -battery filling model took approximately 30 minutes.
To take advantage of the new, higher, charging speeds, you will also need a specialized USB-C cable, which, to our delight, is included in the box of Apple’s new flagship. Although Chargerlab’s tests will only include the iPhone 17 Pro Max so far, it is expected to mark the same or close to these results.
