After Apple missed to freshen up its top Smart -hour model in 2024, launching only a new color for the Apple Watch Ultra 2, now it’s time for the true next generation of the premium wearer device of the The apple.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 arrives with the largest display in the history of the series so far. Apple has achieved this without having to increase the body size of the clock, using LTPO3 technology and wide -angle OLED, which allows reduction of frames by 24%.

In addition to increasing the size of the display, here we have the presence of significantly improved refreshing when using Always on mode. So far, it has been equal to 1 minute, and from now on, the refresh will be done every 1 second.

Another key innovation with Watch Ultra 3 is the addition of satellite communication. Through it, even out of range, we will be able to send messages to emergency assistance as well as to our loved ones and share our location with a specific group of contacts.
The messages will be able to be sent to contacts we have communicated with in the last 30 days, while the location will be shared every 15 minutes with anyone in our Find My list.

Even in the absence of an emergency, we will be able to communicate with our contacts through the service completely free of charge for a period of 2 years, after which Apple will most likely require a monthly or annual fee for long-term use. However, some of these features require an active subscription to a mobile operator.

In addition to satellite connectivity, Apple has also included 5G support, which will allow communication with our loved ones, downloading podcasts, music and applications faster than ever. To this end, the company has developed a new algorithm that uses both available antennas at the same time when the signal is weaker than expected.
However, the innovations do not stop there. In health functions, we already have the opportunity to detect hypertension, as well as serious improvements in showing the quality of sleep. It already includes an official measuring system that is visualized in the form of accumulated points.

The results will take into account the length of sleep, whether we go to bed on time, how often we wake up at night and how long we spend in each of the famous phases of sleep. The system is developed in collaboration with companies developing sleeping pills.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 battery also gets a solid upgrade. According to the Cupertino giant, we will now be able to rely on 42 hours of normal use, as well as up to 72 hours in energy -saving mode, with 15 minutes of charging providing us with about 12 hours of battery life.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is now available for pre -orders and is available in both classic series and several new colors, including the extremely popular Hermes strap collection. The price of the clock starts at 899 euros.
