Google brings significant improvements to the Android Quick Share interface

Android equivalent of an extremely useful and popular Air Drop feature of iOS called Quick Share will get some pretty significant changes that will make it even more intuitive and easy to use, Android Authority reports.

The changes that Google will make will be mainly in the user interface of the feature, which has so far been slightly confusing and more complex than necessary. This is what his use did at times more frustrating, than easy and hassle-free.

The first improvements we will see will be with the features of receiving and sending files. Each of the two modes will already have its own window, and the switch between them will be done through the “Send” and “Receive” buttons located at the bottom of the screen.

The default page when using Quick Share will now be the one to get files, and it has also received a slight improvement in view, consisting in a clearer spelling of the name of our device, visible photo of our account, and the ability to see the appearance of taking them files.

There are also changes to the dispatch mode, and it will already allow more than one type of files at the same time. This will save us a lot of time and a lot of nerves if we want to send photos, music or documents to the same person.

Quick Share’s refreshed interface will be available for all Android users within the next few weeks. If you are the owner of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 or Z Flip7 and expose the One Ui 8, then the changes are already available for your device.

Quick Share is currently working with all Android devices as well as Windows PC and Chromebook. Official support for iOS and MacOS is to be launched, but at this point, Google is not committed to the deadlines for this.
