The Slovenian manufacturer Chipolo has introduced two new Bluetooth trackers for iOS and Android. The loop is a round tracker with an eyelet for the keychain. With a silicone loop, it is alternatively attached to key fans, bags or backpacks. The loop is available in six colors. In the matt black card, the manufacturer relies on the flat check card format so that you can put them in the wallet. Both are water and dustproof according to the IP67 protection class, diving passages at one meter depths should survive for up to 30 minutes.

Both the card and the loop can be integrated into the “Where is?” Network with Apple devices. Android users bind the trackers alternatively in Google’s Find Hub (formerly “Find my device”). However, both networks cannot be used at the same time as the everything finders. This was already the case with the Chipolo Pop model presented in April. If you change the operating system, you can continue to use the devices and do not have to buy a specific tracker.

The trackers play an addiction tone via the app and flash it. According to the manufacturer, the volume should be at 110 dB at the loop, with the card there are even up to 125 dB. Chipolo offers its own app in addition to the Google and Apple networks. There you can adapt the ringtone of the tracker or reduce the volume. In addition, a laid smartphone can be pinged through the chipolo app by pressing a button on the loop or on the card. The app also raises the alarm under Android when one of the trackers is outside the Bluetooth range. Chipolo indicates this for both devices with up to 120 meters. Ultra -line band (UWB) do not dominate either card or loop.

Both trackers have installed batteries that should hold out for up to six months with a load. The loop can be charged via USB, the card inductively refuels via Qi. The predecessor model still had a permanently built -in, non -rechargeable battery and had to be replaced after two years. Both trackers each cost 45 euros. From August 27th Directly at Chipolo and later order from Amazon. They should be on the market at the end of September.
