The next generation of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 26, arrives soon, with the new Liquid Glass vision among its most exciting innovations. Somewhere out there, however, there is also an extremely helpful real -time translation option.
So far, we know from open beta tests of the operating system that real -time translation is available for Phone, Messages and FaceTime applications. However, one place where this type of translation will be very useful is with the wireless headsets of the company – AirPods.
After a little digging from the latest version of the inner beta of iOS 26, 9to5mac have been able to find a curious imageshowing precisely Apple AirPods with several different greetings and thanksgiving in different languages located around the headset.
The image itself is accompanied by an instruction for its activation, which will double by pressing the AirPods stem, and the alleged models that will receive the feature are AirPods 2 and AirPods 4.

The already existing real -time translation options are directly related to Apple Intelligence, which means that using a similar type of service with Apple’s wireless headsets may also require the iPhone model, which has access to the company’s AI package.
It is not yet clear whether real -time translations for Apple AirPods will be ready with the final version of iOS 26 in September, or we will see them in one of the future updates over the next 12 months.
