Apple transferred 3 billion sold units from iPhone

Apple today publishes its financial report on the second quarter of the 2025 calendar 2025, which reports record results and a 10% increase in revenue. At the same time, Tim Cook announced that the company had already transferred 3 billion units sold from the iPhone.

The first iPhone came out in 2007, managing to revolutionize the market and began to quickly gain popularity. The first billion Smartphone Apple reported 9 years later, in 2016, and the second billion became a fact after another 5 years – in 2021.

Today, the US company boasts a new achievement – a total of 3 million units sold from all iPhone models so far. This happens only 4 years after 2 billion sales, which means that interest in Apple’s devices is growing at an even faster rate.

The news is impressive, but not surprising, especially if you have tracked the charts with the best-selling smartphone models in the world over the years. Traditionally, in the top 10 we see at least 5 Apple models, which is an even more serious achievement because these devices are from the high and premium segment.

For the last quarter, the company has reported over 13% growth in iPhone sales and $ 44.6 billion generated revenue from its smartphone business – still the lead pen in its revenue.

How the new iPhone 17 series, expected this September, will be introduced, which sets a brand new ultra -design model – remains to be seen.
