The continuing trade war between the United States and China can have a negative effect on the upcoming Samsung Folding Flagman – Galaxy Z Fold8. It turns out that one of the materials needed to make the smartphone is increasingly difficult, and its price is increasing, given the strained relations between the two commercial superpowers.
According to The Korean edition The Elecit is the titanium and the titanium back of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, which can be replaced by a back -made back -reinforced plastic. Such material Samsung is used with the Galaxy Z Fold3, 4, 5 and 6.
The technological giant is increasingly difficult with Titan’s supplies from its Chinese partners, while reinforced plastic is much more affordable, though not as durable material on the market right now.
And while titanium is healthier than aluminum, it is also much more difficult to process as well as much more brittle, which makes it more laborious. This may also be one of the reasons Apple limited its use this year to its upcoming first Ultra -Winner smartphone iPhone 17 Air.
Of course, until the Galaxy Z Fold8 is released, there are almost 12 months, so everything can change. For now, however, it seems that Z Fold may remain the sole representative of Samsung’s folding family with a titanium back, at least until relations between the US and China have suffered a positive direction for both sides.
