Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 can eliminate the visible fold of the display before folding iPhone

One of the distinctive features that Apple hoped to stand out in front of its competitors in the folding segment is the elimination of the visible crease at its first folding iPhone in the fall of 2026. However, it seems its Samsung competitors to be removed from the same technology a few months earlier.

This is signaling Analyst Ming-Cho Quowho shares that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 will use the same laser -drilled metal display plate that Apple plans to integrate into its first folding apparatus.

This type of technology can distraction the strenuous, accumulating when bending, allowing the formation of a display without a visible fold – one of the main goals in front of apple When creating your folding model.

The folding display for Apple itself will be manufactured by Samsung Display, but the technology and display plate required for the aforementioned effect will be manufactured by Fine M-TEC, which has been one of the Galaxy Z Fold hinges for some time.

Such a development development would mean that Samsung would be able to debut a key element on the market before Apple once again, with a rather solid lead.

And although the experiment with the Galaxy S25 Edge is not particularly successful so far, the introduction of a folding smartphone with no visible crease months before Apple’s debut model in the segment will surely make the task of Tim Cook and at least a few levels more difficult than expected.
