All eyes are on the September event for the iPhone 17 this year, but in early 2026 Apple has another bunch of devices it plans to present. Bloomberg Mark Gurman reports that by spring, the US company will announce new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops with M5 chips, new tablets, as well as a new generation of its more affordable iPhone 17e smartphone.
This fall we expect Apple to introduce the new series of smartphones iPhone 17, which will include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, as well as a super -thin version of the iPhone 17, which is now expected under the name Air. At the same time, the company will launch a new generation of its lower and high-end smartchase, as well as updated iPad Pro tablets with M5 chips and a faster version of the Vision Pro helmet.
At the beginning of the year, we expect more devices, including the heir to the iPhone 16e – the mid -range smartphone of Apple, which inherited the SE series. We expect it to look similar to the previous model, but to get an upgrade to the A19 chip, which will also use the iPhone 17.
Prior to spring, Apple will also announce the MacBook Pro with the M5 series chips, which were originally planned for the end of 2025 but were displaced. The 14th and 16-inch MacBook Pro versions with the M5 will be the last with this design, which dates back to 2021, according to Grman. The next generation is expected to offer a new look and a key upgrade to OLED screens, such as the brand’s smartphones and tablets use.
The more affordable MacBook Air with M5 and a new monitor are also planned for the first half of 2026.
In the first quarter of 2026, a new generation of tablets from the more affordable class of Apple, including a new base iPad and a new iPad Air, was set. The iPad Air should be upgraded from the M3 to the M4 chip, but it will generally be preserved in design and capabilities.
In parallel, Apple is working on a new smart hub for the home, which will probably control different devices. He was supposed to be out earlier this year, but because of the delay in the updated voice assistant Siri, it was delayed indefinitely. According to Gurman, the device may still appear in early 2026.
